As a student, it can be hard to find the time to engage with activities you’re passionate about. It takes work, commitment and a few hours less sleep! But at the end of the day you create a rewarding lifestyle that, while busy at times, can prepare you for life’s obstacles and challenges that lie ahead. This is the philosophy I live by; one that has created a work-life balance which might seem questionable at times, but never detrimental. When I’m not studying, I’ll be managing small-scale logistics at work. When I finally have some time to myself, I’ll be volunteering with my local fire brigade. And when all has calmed for the weekend, I’ll spend much needed time with those I love and care about – provided there isn’t an assignment to do!

This site exists as a space to share thoughts, opinions and experiences that satisfy the requirements of ALM101. Content provided will contain context by way of shared media or informed academic readings. Visitors are welcome to subscribe to keep up to date with any future posts and are given the opportunity to comment on and share the work as well.

For smaller scale topics that can be covered by microblogging, much of this will be done using my Twitter account, which is provided in the above social links or by clicking here. My Facebook link has also been provided, however, this is less active and serves as a snapshot more on who I am and what I do through the various images and previous posts.
